They have worked collaboratively with their peers from Greece, Portugal, Rome and Turkey through e twinning. Thus, the borders between countries disappeared. in our project Our students created an avatar of their own. They used their avatars at events. Virtual classrooms were created via Tinkircad. Arduino coding training was given. Educational content: 1. Led flashing 2. Two LED array lighting (flip flop) 3. Traffic light 4. Walking light (knight rider light) 5. To ring a melody 6. Auto-on lamp with ldr 7. Servo motor rotates from 0 to 180 8. Control of the servo motor with a potentiometer 9. Rgb led control with 3 potentiometers 10. LED control with buzzer and button Arduino simulation with Tinkercad
Each partner transferred these trainings to students in their own schools. They physically set up the schema.
Student studies
They took the code of the job they coded from Tinkircad and uploaded it to Arduino with the Arduino editor and ran it. Mixed teams were formed. Students completed their joint work by completing the tasks assigned to them in the team.
final work They found a problem in each common house and found a solution with the coding knowledge they learned.
stem They used their skills in Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Culture, Coding, Engineering and Art while building a house prototype.
Science: F.4.7.1. Simple Electric Circuits (Using Button). It applies lighting and sound technologies (uses led and buzzer). F.6.3. Force and Motion (Makes windshield wiper with servo motor).
Maths: M.6.3.1. Angles, M.6.3.2. Area Measurement (Determines how many degrees the squeegee connected to the servo motor should rotate and the length of the squeegee). M.7.1.4. Ratio and Proportion (Determines the size ratio of the door and window according to the ratio of the house model to be built). M.7.3.4. Views of Objects from Different Directions (Observing the views of the house model from different directions, observing how the shape changes according to the point of view).
Social studies: SB.6.3.4. It makes inferences about climate characteristics based on human experiences in different natural environments of the world. (While designing the house to be built, he takes into account the effect of the climatic conditions of the region he lives in on the architecture). SB.6.4.3. Makes research using scientific research steps (He uses scientific methods while finding the problems and solutions encountered in the house).
Coding:
IT.6.5.1. Problem Solving Concepts and Approaches (Identifies problems and produces solutions for smart home system).
IT.6.5.2. Programming (Coding the solution using a block-based program).
